Mission

Arts West School for the Performing and Visual Arts is passionate about providing an educational experience that empowers each child both academically and creatively. We believe in nurturing the creative confidence of our students and allowing them to discover their own potential.

We will achieve this vision through the following:

• Integrating a full academic curriculum with multiple opportunities to create and grow through the arts; thereby educating the whole student -- the artist and the scholar.
• Discovering and meeting the individual needs, talents, and desires of each of our students by designing an educational and creative path unique to each student.
• Initiating a discovery-based curriculum which is hands-on, project/performance based and which allows students to be actively involved in their own education.
• Challenging students to undertake tasks that require commitment and perseverance and which result in significant achievement.
• Creating a campus culture which is positive and supportive, allowing students the "safety" to fully explore and express their creativity.
• Opening our students eyes to the wider world through international cultural exchanges and real life experiences in practical application of their academic and creative education.
