Tanya Boyd

Cotillion

Tanya grew up in South Africa with much British influence. Proper manners, etiquette and a good posture were things that were much encouraged during her childhood years. Tanya learned Ballroom dancing and, in her twenties, went on to become a Gold Medalist Ballroom dancer, competing for the next few years. She has lived in seven different countries and has traveled extensively. Her passion for children, and her desire to see their lives changed through gracious living, have made her Cotillion classes very popular, indeed.

She is very excited to offer Cotillion to the students at ArtsWest! Gentlemen behaving gallantly and ladies being gracious, creates an atmosphere of great respect and appreciation which ties in so beautifully with the arts and music. ArtsWest students, with all their potential to perform abroad one day, will appreciate the international flair that Tanya brings to all her teaching.

Tanya, and her Scottish-born husband, John, have three children; Stuart (15) who always (nearly always!)opens doors for his sisters and Ashleigh Paige(13) and Alana Rae(10) who always (nearly always!) smile their thanks. Cotillion is a process!
