1st SPARCS Meeting

A mandatory SPARCS meeting will be held Thursday, September 2 from 6:00-7:00 pm. If you are not able to attend, please send a representative for your family.

We are reminding our ArtsWest families about the required 40 hour per year volunteer commitment each family must fulfill. Many specific opportunities are available and will be addressed at our upcoming SPARCS meeting. Immediate volunteer openings include:

• Back to School Night Tables Sept 14 - 2 hours
• Front Desk AM Receptionists 7:30 am - 12:30 pm
• Staff Lounge Team - weekly
• SPARCS Vice President - 2 meetings per month
• SPARCS Secretary - 2 meetings per month
• Dance NYC Trip Fundraising Chair - weekly until Trip Nov. 3
• Communication Bulletin Board - 1 day/week
• 10 Teacher aides - 1 day/week
• 10 Lunch room monitors - 1 day a week
• 8 Morning student greeters/monitors - 7:30 - 8:00 am 1 day/week
