There are limited talent based Tuition Awards available. Tuition Awards are determined through scholarship auditions. These events are held periodically throughout the year. Students are interviewed, then audition or submit portfolios in their artistic areas of interest. Tuition Awards are considered and decided by a committee of staff within ArtsWest. (Remaining tuition can be contracted for the school year.)
Details and requirements for participating in Scholarship Auditions are posted on the web site.
To learn more about this please contact our Admissions Office.
Because of small class sizes and the ability to provide individualized instruction, all courses push students to high achievement. All courses are college preparatory. ArtsWest does offer Advanced Placement Calculus and Concurrent Enrollment for History.
The Campus Visit Day program is a day visit to ArtsWest for students interested in coming to the school. Throughout the day the student gets to attend classes with ArtsWest students to experience what a day in the life at ArtsWest is like and to experience our supportive culture firsthand. We try to give the visiting student a taste of both the academics and their preferred arts. This is a time for the student to evaluate ArtsWest as a potential school, but it is also a time for us to evaluate the student.
To schedule a Campus Visit Day for your child, contact our Admissions Office as early as possible as space is limited to 20 students per Campus Visit Day.
We start class at 7:55 am and let out at 3:30pm. This includes 5 periods, each 80 minutes long. There is an optional 6th period class for some arts disciplines that students can take that goes until 4:50pm.
ArtsWest started in 2007 as a secondary private school. In 2009, ownership changed to a board of directors with a 501(c) 3 non-profit status.
ArtsWest's school code is 130178.
School codes are used on ACT/SAT/AP tests, college applications, and various other school related things.
