ArtsWest Youth Conservatory started as Rivendell Music Academy. The mission of ArtsWest After-school Academy is to create an environment where the study, appreciation, and enjoyment of music can flourish.

Goals

• To introduce students of all ages to the joys and disipline of music, regardless of ability or economic circumstances
• To support a faculty of professional, practicing musicians and a staff of student instructors drawn from university music departments that are well-qualified and dedicated teachers
• To enhance the quality of the community's musical life through concerts, festivals, outreach programs, workshops and summer camps
